Well, i think i have narrowed my new suspenion down to Northwest off road heavy duty replacement leaf springs. They are suppose to only add 3/4" height to the rear and im gonna run 5100's front and rear with the front set at .85" on stock TRD springs. One question is should i get the rear 5100's for 1" to 3" of lift or stock length ones. Northwest off road says factory length shocks are good with these springs. I dont need a lot of lift as i just use my truck for DD and getting to hunting and fish spots and hauling my boat to the lake. These rear springs are suppose to add 700 aditional pounds to the gross capacity of the truck. Any info on the rear shock length would be great. Thanks

I'm assuming this is for your 1st Gen. If so, the 1st Gen Tacomas don't have the same settings as the 2nd Gens. They only have 0, 1.25 and 2.5 (I believe). Not sure if that will change your plans or not.

Well it may, my truck sits pretty level now but rears are sagging pretty good, so not sure at how much lift to expect until the springs are on. Center of hub to fender flare is 21" + or - 1/4 from wheel to wheel.

Does anybody have experience with the wheelers 5 pack and how well they handle a load and how well they stand up over time. I want something that will last over time. My boat and trailer is not that heavy but may be looking into a small camper soon. I guess i could do 5100's at 1 1/4 and the wheelers 5 pack at 1 1/2. Curious as to the rake i would have but definately dont want any bro lean.

I have wheelers 5 pack leafs and I measure 23" from center of hub to fender flare. They do ride good, I cant really tell you how they handle weight since I haven't really loaded it down since I installed them. If you call wheelers, they are very helpful in advising you on what to get for your needs. FYI, on the front I have billies on the front set to 0 with OME 881 springs and my measurement is 22.5" center hub to fender flare. Hope this helps.
