I want to lift my truck 2". Some have said that spacers are bad, others have said they never had a problem with them.

I like the 2" Cornfed suspension lift, http://www.cornfedsuspension.com/9504Tacoma.htm, mainly because of the price.

I am a seldom off roader, just want my 32" tires to have some clearance and too look right on the truck.

Spacer lift? No. Better options out there for almost or a little more than that kit.

You might not have any problems if you OffRoad. But you do wear out suspension parts a bit faster than normal. Considering you're a first gen, I'm guessing you need to replace shocks/springs anyways, so you might as well go with quality parts like Bilstein.
