OPT7 LED TAILGATE BAR

a little nervous of cutting anything on the light bar because of waterproofing

 

I just mean the plastic shroud where the 3m tape or holes are to tap into body.

 

Here are some pics, i quickly did this up on my old bar that does not work! But it will be the same for you.
You will have a constant12v wire(red),reverse wire(white), and the 4 pin trailer harness that you will cut the end off of. Remember which wires are what if they are not color coded like mine. Your 7pin should come with a diagram and each pin will be labeled 1-7 or with letters, ax(auxil/12v) gd(ground) etc.

In my third pic you can see where i notched the plastic for the tire carrier on my old truck.

 

Looks like a nice feature rich tailgate bar.

I thought about getting one of these for the bro status, but doesn't it cover that hole for the spare?
