Opticoat Pro - worth it!!! My experience

    Kind of. It makes it so much easier to mantain, protects from UV etc. I'm considering it as I plan to keep the truck a long time and would like the factory paint to last as long as possible. I haven't had the best of luck with re-painted body parts in vehicles, its hard to find a good body shop around here, so I want to avoid them.

    Nanos aren't the end all to your detailing problems. It also does give a piece of mind that you're actually adding to the thickness of the paint rather than reducing it each time you do paint correction. Granted, if you do paint correction 1-2 times a year it's not bad but I would argue nano coating is better to have than no coating. Also its not hard to DIY at home if you're competent with detailing tools.

    It's a premium clear coat for your cheap oem clear coat.

    What's important though is the prep work. Any imperfections in the clear coat will basically be persevered for as long as the coating is on. Generally every car needs paint correction even off the lot. The guys washing cars there have no idea what they're doing!
