    Hello all!

I’d like a wheel and tire upgrade. I am willing to do some trimming. Would like to avoid CMC if possible, but I will do it if need be.

I don’t want skinny tires, so I’d like to run 275/70/R17 to get to 32” on a 17” wheel with 8.5” width.

Obviously I have two risks, rubbing on the UCAs and rubbing on fender/liners. These two seem to be in balance. I’m thinking to clear UCAs I need to be 0.75” out more with the wheels, so an offset decrease of about 20mm.

I have three wheel choices that I really like.

    1) SCS ray 10s: 17x8.5 -12 offset. These are my fav, but unfortunately probably the worst fit. CM and fender rub city.

    2) Method 315s: 17x8.5 0 offset. These will probably work better, and are probably tied as far as aesthetics with option 3.

    3) Fuel Vectors: 17x8.5 +7 offset. This is -18 mm offset from stock. This makes me a bit nervous that maybe it isn’t enough for the UCA clearance.

Has anybody installed a bunch of offsets and published/quantified rub risk and location?

I want to lift eventually, but I’d like to clear the tires stock so I know they will clear lifted with the suspension stuffed. Also, I just want to have the truck look better :)

Any knowledge would be much appreciated!
