Awesome! Thank you for the reply. Oddly the tire guy said I'd likely rub the liner where the cmc is amd hit my fender. He was worried. Kinda bummed. Should've just took a chance!

So far some great suggestions! Method and rrw are very cool! Method has a lot of different opions. I have enkei rpt1 in 16x8 with 285 and I really like them. Super light weight for a truck wheel too. Scs isn't a bad option but I swear there are more tacomas with scs wheels than stock. Everyone one and their sister is running them.

    Isn't an 16x8 0 offset 4.5 backspacing? I think you'd need -12 to hit 4" bs

FN Wheels are another solid option

You need to call Dustin there to find out stock and various sizes not listed on the website.

Yes. Apparently my numbers are slightly off because the width measurement of a given wheel is taken from between the beads, not outside-to-outside, good catch

good edit. I phrased it as a question to be polite. You are not rubbing uca at 4.75bs? I didn't think I had 1/4 to spare? I'm yellow you are green20210408_192040.jpg

No rubbing on the UCA at all, but I swapped the stock ones out for SPC’s, set to +3* caster

didnt have to worry about lug nuts, off set, TPMS, and the trends now for most wheels mfg's are painting them flat colors, I wanted a shinny finish, nature will make it not shine but I can clean them for mall crawling

I like the FSW Pro Style 2020. I just received mine, and should have then mounted tomorrow. 16x8 with 0 offset. They look good, are light weight and reasonably priced.FA49174A-19A2-48E4-8551-ACA57045BEE0.jpg

Yes I’d like to see some other options of reputable brands out there besides scs and method, nothing against those brands-just shopping around

That’s the route I went. 16x8 with 0 offset FX Pro in gunmetal. Just moved my stock tires and sensors over to the new wheels. Perfect stance and look great. Dustin is a rock star...very helpful. FN is worth a look.

Note: The 16x8’s are NOT on their website...but they have them. Identical to the 17x8’s that are pictured on their site.

    Oh look, another mod....
I went with these. They are KMC Carnage 16"

I kept the OEM tire and had my local discount tire mount them for me.
