What options are there for routing wiring through the firewall? I believe I see a grommet beneath the brake master cylinder area, not especially accessible. I have set up some pretty amateurish wiring in the past on this truck and want to redo it correctly as I start a new electrical project :) Thanks!

Yes the grommet below and inboard of the master cylinder is a good location, comes out above the gas pedal in the cab so you can run up into the dash or directly below the radio area. Just bundle all the wires you need (plus maybe an extra or two) in a loom and open the grommet to pass it through, then you can seal the grommet around the loom.

The pass-through for the main engine wiring harness to the ECU on the passenger side is also a good location for wiring on that side of the engine bay if needed.

None of them are particularly accessible, especially if you’re a large human. One of the downsides of a compact truck.

Grommet near the brake/clutch is the best choice. Poke through with a coat hanger and pull your wires through. It's easier to get to then it seems.
