Sup, gentlemen. This year I'm going to be doing more off-roading than I've done before in my truck, and I just want to make sure I'm ready. Not hardcore wheeling, but, still, off-road.

My truck will be at about 2 1/4" of lift with 32.8" tires. So quite a bit higher than stock.

My question is: if/when I get a flat out on the trail, what are my options for jacking the truck up? I don't have bumpers and I don't have real sliders, so a hi-jack isn't going to do me any good.

Is the stock bottle jack even applicable any more? I haven't checked, so I'm not sure how high that little thing even goes. Nor am I crazy about using it on uneven terrain. Are there any other jack options I could purchase?

    Any trail-tested advice appreciated.

My friend and I went out a couple of weeks ago and he tore a side wall on his FJ front passenger. We didn't have a hi-lift. only our stock bottle jacks. He's on 3in lift in front with 285/70R17. I used my bottle jack to jack up the lowest part of the frame I could find and he used his to jack up the lower control arm. It worked out for us. But next time, I will be carrying a block of wood with me in case and am currently looking for a good deal on a hi-lift. But I have bumpers and sliders.

Go get yourself a standard garage jack and big chunk of 4x4. Make sure garage jack is positioned well, jack truck up
