Maybe someone can ask to have something 3D printed as a replacement for the pad...

My truck is only a few months old, and I use the pad from time to time. What doe people mean by "bubbling up"? What do I have to look forward to? :frusty:

    This kind of nonsense. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/qi-pad-bulging.739432/#post-26322095

Mine is still like that. I just ignore it and only had my iPod classic there. But it ain’t flat in the slightest.

Thanks. I understand the issue now. I wonder if this is fixed for 2022. Mine seems to charge very slowly, and when using Android Auto, results in net discharging. I think it's likely because the wattage of the OEM unit is low, but I have no idea what it's spec is, nor how to find out... It's like Toyota putting in a fuse block in the cabin that is mounted horizontally... I can't figure that out at all. What a PITA it is to even see the fuses unless you contort oneself onto their back in the footwell area. What are the engineers at Toyota thinking? So back to the Qi charger - why supply such a poor unit? Arghhhh.

I think there’s a thread around here for a plug and play aftermarket charger that works and replaces the oem.
