The factory wheels really transform the SR. I was going in one of two directions, depending on whichever wheels I found first. I was either going with OR wheels and Predator running boards, or Sport wheels with the Gen 2 running boards. I found a set of Sport wheels/tires with 90 miles on them, so went that route, although I would have been completely happy either way.

Would you guys say there is great demand for OR wheels? I occasionally see old 4Runners and Taco's w/ the 3rd gen rims on them, but never thought of a SR or SR5 wanting my wheels. Is it a common upgrade for you guys w/ your "spartan" 3rd gens?

Well since they were brand new for only $450, I figured why not. Set of tires cost more than that. But I’m tight with my money and don’t spend it on stuff just for looks (hence the SR) Everyone is different , but at the right price they’ll sell.
