Ahh. This looks painfully familiar. Sorry to hear that happened! I had no idea.
Glad you were able to get Tauntaun off the trail!

@kyle11863 Kyle, or @goblue82 Greg, or @dtaco06 Danny, what trail did this happen on by the way???

That was a pretty good "field dressing" that was done to get the wounded off the battlefield!!! Again, it was nice to see everyone doing what they could!!! It helps me in knowing that the human race is not a complete loss just yet!!! The last thing to come out of Pandora's Box was "HOPE"!!! Again, just AWESOME... "no one left behind!!!":fistbump::cheers::mudding:

Good thing it was towards the end of the Jacoby Canyon trail! Some areas of that trail are narrow and would make it even more of a pain in the ass to do recovery/repair work!So much respect to all of you who helped out!

3N61, turn right at the mill site above the landfill.

Talking to Chris Brissey, he's had this exact failure before. Apparently with aftermarket spindles, the uniball cup can contact the top of the spindle putting some weird stresses in the bolt. Limit straps or some machining for clearance might prevent the spindle and uniball from bottoming out on each other.

Happy 4th of July everyone! Time to wrench on @YotaGurlIAm truck and get her back on the trails. Thanks for all that stayed even as moral support. You all kicked ass. So smart of Madison, Mike, and Charlie to bring their ez up. That was clutch. The two Wills, fuck yeah! I'll wrench with you two anyday and please know that if you need a hand I'll drop what I'm doing and go find you. That goes for all you awesome off road friends.

Snafus on the trails happen. Certain casualties can be planned for but not practiced and so learning to become a mcgyver on the battle field isn't always fun, but it's necessary for survival. In the military we drilled and drilled for casualties but when shit actually hits the fan the man or woman really finds out what theyre made of. Same goes for off roading. Or as Mike Tyson has said "Everyone has a plan until you get punched in the face." Happy 4th. America: heck yeah!!

Definitely running Jacoby Canyon coming from the back way to the trail head at night was awesome. Climbing that biggish Boulder at that second rock garden was super fun. I find wheeling at night to be easier. Concentrated on the trails more than scenery. Night wheeling to make time and day wheeling to snap photos. Haha

That trail was crazy different at night.
