Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
what're you talking about? Is there a truck in this picture? I just see a bush between those cars... who puts a bush there??

Has anyone ever removed the upper-sunglasses console thing on a 2nd gen? Do you just pull straight down on it? I have dreams of putting a few low-power LEDs up there.....

I can't keep up with this thread lol.

@YotaGurlIAm glad to see your truck back on its own weight. Who put the new bolt in? (Thinking check torque specs to prevent similar issue) was the bolt length trimmed to prevent it bottoming out in the spindle?

The hoop on your bumper looks awesome. Get that thing to powdercoat! But don't let them touch that beautiful grade 8 hardware

Yeah I took it to "the truck shop" in SD, had them put a grade 8 washer in place of the one we put in(and an overall check up, turns out I need a valve cover) We put the new bolt in Monday morning at the cabin we stayed at, after Greg finished drilling out that shitty bolt. I'll need to double check how far it comes down from the nut in the spindle, hopefully I won't need to get it trimmed. & thanks! Getting estimates for powdercoating places all day today, she'll be all pretty again by the end of the month. I've been dying to wash it but haven't been able to with that raw front bumper.

Curious if they commented on the 5/8 bore I put through the spindle. I noticed it was pretty dicey getting through the 3/8 chop job we did on the trail. Took some time to correct that but I feel it came around and made it a once again true 5/8. Also, you dont necessarily have to cut the bolt. You can always add a spacer with washers up top. No, scratch that, adding spacers up top will only bring your spindle closer to your uca uniball cup at full droop. Not by much but slicing a couple threads off the bolt would be best if needed. One thing is for sure: your spindles prove true that the hardware will fail before those beefy spindles. Taun Taun!! Respect!!!

Rub it down with wd40 really well, then wash the truck. Go back over it with more wd40 and a scrotchbrite pad after the wash. It'll keep the water off and keep rust from forming.
