    I dunno man. Personally I just use axle grease. Yeah it's dirty as fuck but stays through weather conditions and does what it's supposed to. In my opinion, nothing's permanent unless you install some kind of bushing made from plastic so no metal touches metal

    To add. Dry lube will work, but it won't last long. The reason why it won't last long is because a leaf spring is a high load application. It will basically squeeze out over some time as it will try to move to an area of lower pressure. Grease will stay in better but it attracts dirt. The plastic liner is the best solution.
