I hear ya. It's one thing to hack into your own whip. It's yours forever (hopefully) so you know the ins and outs of everything. Here at my new gig is a different story. The last guy (guy I replaced) totally botched all kinds of wiring jobs. "Spaghetti" everywhere I look. Tomorrow I have to rewire and organize this mess which he left me at one of our boiler PLC's.
    All these wires (spaghetti):

For this lil doohickey PLC. Haha:

Día de las muertas en Mexico? Halloween in Mexico? I know the American and Mexican Halloween's are different dates but, well, how about a TW Halloween Party on location? Haha

I'll be there for a week in Nov. for the Baja 1000, so Nov wouldn't work for me. But if you guys get something going, make sure to keep me in the loop! How long are you thinking of being down there?

Cool! Looks like I'll be there tomorrow night! I haven't been in what feels like decades!

That looks absolutely awful. As a former sys admin, I know the pain you are about to endure

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Deer god. Burn it down and rebuild it.
The heat is real! Don't forget before and after pictures!!
You must have worked for a small company, most of the sysadmins I come across can't handle a punch tool, don't know 568A/B by heart, can't give you pinout to a T1 crossover, are scared of cable toners, and wouldn't know a 66-block from an address range.

I have some before pics. I will also be taking pics during the install. I tried to to the jack under the rear tire to see flex and I got close to the bump stop but the jack started moving quite a bit so I stopped. I'm thinking of setting up my go pro for a time lapse too.

Here's some pics of Devon's bike. It doesn't really look that bad, at least compared to the last bike.

Ya, I did an 8 month internship in college for sys admin. It was fun, but when it got down to that stuff it was just such a pain in the ass.
I actually worked for a large construction company haha. My supervisor was the only sysadmin for all of Hawaii. We definitely used punch tools frequently and could handle just about everything else that wasn't super techy that had to deal with firewall stuff as we had relatively tight encryptions and what not

No such thing as "too early" for a beer.
