Pretty sure you should only use a dry lube, or purchase the thin shims made to allow them to move quietly and smoothly over each other(I forget their technical name). That lube might be okay right now, but it's going to collect dirt and rocks and probably make any noise worse.

My Deavers don't squeak, but my springs on a few of my other trucks did. I did the old trick of using bicycle inner tubes.

Like I said, any time bro :fistbump:

And it didn't stay the BrokeTaco! :goingcrazy:
Some people don't know how to do that shit. Yeah its easy, but once you figure it out. If you don't know how you end up like the infamous @Krazie Sj. That 2.7 has the most involved spark plug job I've ever seen so I don't blame Nick for wanting a hand. I'm not gonna bother getting into a debate with you about whether or not the engine needed cleaning because you'll think you're right either way, but there was more to this than just maintenance. Nick learned a lot of shit and a lot of it came from the stuff that "didn't need to be done," and that's what's important.

I don't understand why you gotta shit on any topic that involves me. Someone brings up my 4runner and you immediately start talking shit on how it'll never be done. That's what's trully doesn't need to be done. You rip on us when we're worried about doing something because we lack experience, then when we finally start trying to do it you get on us for not having the experience. Just because you don't agree with how we did things doesn't mean you gotta devalue what we did. Its his truck, not yours, let him handle his business. No one said shit when you fried a whole bunch of your electronics.

Apologies to the rest of you fine TW people for the rant. I know a lot of you don't like this bs, just tired of seeing the shit talk on everything I do, especially after the mods have said it needed to end months ago and it never did. Anyways, I'm done. Back to the usual bs! :hattip:
I've got one too, but its super shitty. Gonna redo it when things start happening
STOP CALLING IT THE BLOODRUNNER! HIS NAME IS PEDRO! :smack:

Certainly the frugal and effective way to do it. I believe there's a company out there that actually makes rubber sleeves to insert each spring into and then re-assembling the pack. However, that's just paying way too much then needed when the bike tubes are just as effective. I like what this guy did as well:

so IIRC cleghorn is prerunner friendly right? trying to head out there within the next few weekends before I leave for AZ. I was going to go with a friend (if he can make it in his pre runner) and anyone that would want to go. Also been thinking about the yellow wire mod but I have to see if it does anything for me.

    IIRC?
Ya cleghorn is absolutely 2wd friendly, it has many split off road that vary in difficulty which all returnback to the main road. As long as you stick to the main road you'll be A okay
I may join along, let me know when

If the other guys in wheelers' annonymous don't go out to Rowher I'm down to cruise up to Cleghorn this weekend
