Fuck dat. Firebird gets to keep its money. That thing has been too good to me to let it not get taken care of

Besides, the 4runner is already taken car of
 So true. Thanks for the laugh Ryan. I needed that. Happy birthday btw. Get the 4walker on the dirt already!
    Funny you should say that...

We collided, I bounced off him into and over a jagged curb, and took out a metal post, minimal damage. Rims and tires are chewed up along with a busted hub cap and my alignment is toast but no dents whatsoever, not even on the Fiberglass bumper where it hit the post. Only real bad damage is my paint :pout:
Hahaha got blasted into the stratosphere hopefully. Fucking already hated Subarus, this just made it worse.

So glad the Bird in that pic is a 74-76. I'd cry if that were one of the other second gens, especially 70-73
No pics have been taken. Looking at it just makes me sad and depressed
You better! We got some wheeling to do! :burnrubber:
After we conclude our race let's go! I'm dying to go there too. Though I'm 4x4 desert dunes is like my dream

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Wait, you were in a car accident post 2004 and didn't take a picture with the supercamera in your pocket? Bro. We gotta talk young man.

Are you sure you just didn't step out of your car without putting it into park and the car got away from you?

Well I was going east bound on North Shore (anyone who knows Big Bear knows its pretty much the fastest road in Big Bear) and as I came up on the Stanfield cutoff I saw the Subaru heading west bound on North Shore. I didn't see any issue so I continued on at my speed. All of a sudden the dumb ass tries to turn left onto Stanfield before I've passed. I swerve and slam on the brakes but it was too late. He was too much in my lane and he clipped my door/quarter panel. Because of that I slid into and over the curb, took out the post and blah blah blah. I was pretty far over on the curb and in the bushes. I'm actually surprised I didn't rip off my Fumoto valve with how I landed.

Anyways I got out of the Firebird pretty pissed off and shaken, and the first thing out of the dude's mouth was "Sorry I was reading the sign and thought I could make it."

I was too busy trying to calm down and not murder the guy for the above reasons. Looking at the damage would've just made it worse
I slammed that thing into park so hard I'm surprised nothing broke. I was piiiissed

I'm one of those crazy people that would rather be hurt than the car. I heal for free :D

What was the damage to the Subaru? Was it a young driver? How long until birdy is up and running again? @kyle11863

A good mechanic can still find all the holes with only one hand and no sight
Thanks man. A part of me wishes I had been in the 4runner because I don't care if it gets damged, but a part of me is glad I wasn't. Just based on how I bounced off the Subaru and the curb there's a good chance I would've rolled it. That shit was no joke.

No clue on damage to him. Was staying as far away from him as possible. I did hear him mention he got some of my sparkly black paint. Fucker. That is not cheap paint

Nope he was not young. Older dude. Late 30s-early 40s. He should know better.

Firebird will be back once I get insurance to pay me and I can get the alignment done. Passenger wheel is turned right, driver wheel straight, and steering wheel turned left. Was a bitch driving that thing the rest of the way to work. I didn't realize it was that bad

Nope haven't had time. I work the same hours as the company and my boss won't let me touch my phone which was a bitch when GCU was coming after me with my student loans.

Oh that reminds me. More bad news. GCU is coming at me hard and taking a good chunk of the money I'm making. This is going to horribly affect my mod/maintenance fund, which the Firebird is going to need more of now. This could even affect my future TW meet attendance

Bummer man. But you're doing the right thing by staying employed and paying back the cash borrowed. That's honorable. Only a set back. You'll grind back.

Trying to. We'll see. Pain in the ass job. Hopefully what my manager said about hiring a second driver is true. Will make my job way easier and less stressful
