I really don't think it will make much of a difference where we go unless it is JT. I don't think we even have to go to the top of MD a good overlook will work. I am down and can bring my 4se and we could check out the moon and then look at the shower. I have to be home around 2am or so. Main would work better for me as Cleghorn is way out there from Laguna. If anyone is looking to buy a scope check this place out. His prices are great and he is honest and can steer you in the right direction. Amazon may be cheaper but his advice and warranty make up for the cost. Plus he is local.

Its great. I have combined the two my dslr and scopes. pricey but trippy as well

 

I may or may not have fucked up my telescope when moving to my new house so yeah... all of a sudden I'm in the market lol

im fine with anywhere as long as its not too far. im coming from hb. something like cleghorn or main drive are prob about as far as I would want to go. ill be bringing a cigar and just a few beers.
