    LOL!!! Either I've been "missed" or :infantry::deadhorse:???!!! LMAO!!! What's up mang!!! :rofl::rofl::rofl::thumbsup::fistbump::cheers:

    I have a Meade, Orion, Celestron of various sizes. They're all either Newtonians or Refractors. Just cleaned my 8in Primary (i.e. the dollar is there for size comparison) for my Orion and need to get off of my A$$ to clean the secondary (that is much, MUCH SMALLER, LMAO)!!! My Celestron is just a 60mm and want to get the 6in Celestron Newtonian when I get the chance. Like Bigbarlo said, "ford vs chevy". It all really depends on the end user and if they're brand loyal or just like the features that the scope has. I just get what I can afford and like and the rest can go find a knot hole if they don't like what I have (i.e. I'm not brand loyal because they all have good features to them).
    IMG_9900.jpg

    LOL, this is my small setup that I've been wanting to try out in the desert one of these days. Simple and easy to lug around for sure. That is my 3in (76mm) Newtonian and my 60mm Celestron Refractor. That is my OLD tripod that is in still pretty decent shape. I call this my "Frankenstein Scope", LOL!!!
    3inNewtonian_OLDtripodmount.jpg

    My other scopes are a 120mm Refractor, 4.5in Newtonian, 80mm Refractor, and my other older 4.5in Newtonian that I need a primary and secondary mirror for.

    Is there some "star party" that someone is putting together? I've been thinking about one, but don't know when yet? Either up in Big Bear somewhere or out in Anza Borrego? Either way, somewhere away from city lights and pretty damn remote. I gotta get away from city shi- every now and then!!! Anyways... I would LOVE to get together with someone or a few that are into scopes and astronomy!!! :yes: I always have something new to learn from someone. :thumbsup:

    @BLKTRUCK Oscar, I would make the post longer, but I have to eat, LOL!!! I'll be back on to take up a page or two, LMAO!!! :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I know clerghorn is farther but I feel like it's more fun than main divide and I'd we're going out might as well do it in style

    I would rather avoid that. It's another 45 mins to clerghorn at least without traffic but I definitely think it's more fun

    Sounds like cleghorn is where we're going. Are the trails we'd take fairly easy with stock 4x4

    But if its smokie and not the good kind :rasta: it can really be a drag! Since i quit smoking cigs i cant stand the smell of stagnant smoke.
    Most of the time i can see the peek if main divide from the pad. Today i dont see shit.
    Idk man. Shit everywhere!

    Are you going to Pismo next weekend?

    Yes but there are a few trails tobe aware of like Rons slope with rons rocks.
    I would say if you see this turn around and go back to the main fire road

    @Nicklovin
