@YotaGurlIAm Madison @eccracer104 Mike for the SD region and for the OC peeps:

@TXpro4X4 Bryan and @sladesdaddy1022 John, since you might miss this post...

Just to let ALL of you know that the Miramar Air Show is Sept 23-25 :plane:. I HIGHLY advise to get to and through the gates by 8am!!! Parking is always free and they typically have tram rides now instead of walking long distances now. If you have never seen certain shows like the MAGTF demo, then that is quite the show to see... VERY AWESOME indeed!!!

So, just a heads-up TW peeps!!!

    Good morning all!!! :pccoffee:

Ohhhh, btw, TRUST ME, GET BLEACHER SEATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The approx $16-20\person is well worth it!!! DO NOT GET THE "BOX SEATING" AND\OR LOUNGE SEATING AS THEY ARE COMPLETE BS!!! The best bleachers to sit on are the 2-3 bleachers on the FAR left looking towards the runway as that is about "center show" as the planes come from front and\or behind... been that way for years and it would surprise me if it changes???!!! Anyways, wasn't able to go last year and the year before, I believe it wasn't shown due to "funds"? Anyways, done it for years and it never got old.

Yes, they are supposed to be there. Depending on the weather (I.e. cloud cover), it will be either a "low show" or "high show". The high shows are better because of the vertical climbs that they execute.

Regarding other shows, that is, before the final show for the Blue Angel's at the end of the day, over the years, I've learned to pretty much stay in the bleachers because the shows tend to be one after the other and you miss good photo ops!!! Then, after the Blue Angel's perform, I quickly walk around taking pics of the planes\copters that are on display. But, that is just me and people have different likes on what they want to do.

I've been to both the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels shows....I think the Blue Angels do a better show but that's my opinion.

I was there the one year for the Thunderbirds in place of the Blue Angel's and, yes, the Blue Angel's put on a better presentation and show. Don't get me wrong though, I still have mad respect for both!!!

And, as stated, watching the MAGTF demo is F'N SICK BRO!!! If people haven't seen it in person, it is most definitely something to go see and experience!!! Of course, the pyro-technics of the machine gun fire from the Cobras and the napalm drops from the jets are fake, but it definitely gives you an idea of what goes on during a ground assault!!! I always liked watching the troops demonstrating the fast roping as well!!! :headbang::yes::thumbsup:

Definitely proud and glad to be "behind" the U.S. troop barrels and NOT in front of them, LMAO!!!
