    lmao! o_O

If you snapped that bolt (doing normal midtravel shenanigans) , I can almost guarantee that it wasn't properly torqued or the suspension wasn't properly bumped/strapped. That's big fuggin bolt and it can handle the load.

He doesn't like the bolt protruding up because it can punch a hole in the top of the fender well.

    Ha-Ha you're so funny :luvya:

It happened on Madison's truck. The driver's side bolt was missing a washer allowing for a small amount of play which over time must have weakend the bolt allowing it to sheer off about 1/4" into the spindle. It was a trail nightmare, but it's fixed now

If you have that much travel without anything else rubbing at full bump then  to you. That's awesome! Simple solution that jberry figured out to solve it. A little holesaw takes away all the problems :D

So, yeah it wasn't set up properly.

fyi: I'm not trying to start an argument or anything, just tossing ideas out there...

It's officially official. Ordered and shipped. Now to order the rest of the stuff. Thanks again, Greg @goblue82, Mike @eccracer104, and Mike @Mike likes Tacos for helping me out with all my suspension questions. Can't wait for mod day to get these bad boys on!

That top bolt punches holes in the fender. Which is also a Toyota crap design. Cutting away for that clearance works but patooey on Toyota for such shitty fender strength. Some people mou t second batteries there. That's fine if you're keeping it mellow but if you're at all hitting the more difficult terrain then it's only a matter of time before that battery and mount tears away. The structural integrity just isn't designed for battery weight right there. Ill be putting my dual battery in the back seat.

That's a volatile area to mount it. Ball joints are susceptible to binding but camburg which you have are pretty robust. My icons do have the cap. Little half moon punches rather than the hole from the tc uca. There's no sure fire way to protect everything and anything. Just opinions. Mine mean nothing. Haha. I'm but a drunken sailor enjoying a Bohemian Hopsody and smoking a tri tip watching my Dodgers struggle in Miami tonight.

Don't get me started on "gas smoking. " Im kidding. At home it's fine but when restaurants advertise they're a bbq house I better see smoke coming from their back pit at 4am. Those other places use liquid smoke. Pass. Haha

I'm at 125*. Final sear then putting to rest for 45.

Mucho respect to that. Those pellet smokers are pretty legit. Pricey though.
