    I'm not complaining though

Picking up the shocks from UPS today after work. Waiting to hear back from Marie to place my order for my UCAs, Dakar and brake lines, and then I just gotta find a weekend to drive down there and pick them up! Is it October yet

You didn't need kings, brotha. Most people don't. As for 2 wheel drive, they're actually pretty dang capable and people tend to not give them much street cred. The fact is, a decent suspension, some clearance, good tires, a good driver, and the right amount of skinny pedal will bump you up and over a lot of stuff 4wd's with meh drivers can't get past.

My wife is about 5' 6" and I'm 5' 10" so it might be doable. I plan to probably make a platform as well to give me space over the wheel wells. We will see. Thanks for the honesty and all of the help as well on everything. Opinion is always welcome!

I'll probably try to see what's around on the site. I'll do some good Google research and post my findings later. I plan to probably save for 1-3 months in order to get enough to buy something quality.

Thanks on the congrats. It's been awesome so far! Best decision of my life by far!

Good to know on the suspension. Probably the route I will take. I've been looking at some of the soft toppers and I like it because you can break it down pretty easy as well to put stuff into the back. The only reason why I would like a hard shell is to put surfboards in the back and lock them in there while I'm at work or whatever. We will see what ends up winning down the road!

Good to know. Thanks for the positive outlook. The TRD models were just out of my price range. I ended up getting a 4 banger because the example I bought was in really good shape for a solid price. The 4 banger is slow but it isn't too bad. My 2001 felt slower.

They're compatible with any gen. It's just the length of the bed that matters when purchasing

I mean, if nick wants to work it out with that seller then sure. But I don't meet up with CL dudes by myself, cause you know, female.

I think he meant the seller hold it until the Fiesta Island meet.
@Nicklovin it might work out to where you could pay me via paypal, we pick it up and hold it for you :notsure:
