We are getting nothing but rain up until Friday night. Then a new low front is expected to come in and keep snow level's around 3-4000ft into Christmas morning, 6-12" expected. Its pouring rain right now.

I can't speak much about the snow, of course, being at sea level, but yeah, it was a good constant pouring of rain here near HB!!! :rain: Nothing crazy wild, but just a good constant pouring for sure!!! Stay safe ALL!!!

I bet. I came up from Redlands to big bear yesterday and it was pouring and small rock slides where everywhere on highway 38. Makes for a interesting drive. Been raining up here in big bear pretty constant since about noon yesterday.

Yeaaaaaaah, the one thing I still have not "experienced" yet, my whole driving life, is rock slides and/or driving through them to be more exact

The rain stopped for a bit and then started back up again and, from what I could hear through the window, it has been a constant pouring all night, for the most part. I went out early this morning to go grab something from the car, about 4:30am, and it was STILL raining!!! LMAO!!! I mean, we REALLY NEED this rain, but "F" DUDE, it COULD SPREAD OUT over time a little bit you would kinda hope, LMAO!!!:rain::crapstorm:

Stay safe with those rock slides and black ice! Which, btw, thankfully, I've never had to drive on road conditions like that, but came close to it back when I was in Iowa in 2008 and it was snowing like a MrFr with temps at -30 and possibly even more lower. NOT fun times!!! LOL, I was more afraid of driving my aunts old beat up dodge than the environmental conditions themselves!!! LMAO!!!:rofl::rofl: The thing was a champ though!!! LOL!!!:rofl::rofl:

It's sketchy to say the least anytime we get heavy rains with the rock slides on the 330/18 and 38. This pic was taken by a local from the last storm we had last week on highway 38, you can see the huge boulder to the right of the pic. Everyone was OK thankfully but it is a pretty common accurance in these mountains. FB_IMG_1482016647044.jpg

Totally. I'm not 100% what happened. She was for sure in my blind spot. Her car had super minimal damage. So, all I did was give her my info. A guy told me he saw what happened and I was pulling out and she came into me. At first I thought I rear ended her. I ended up telling my insurance what the guy told me and I'll let them work it out. It will probably be a 50/50 situation. But there is no way in hell I'll say I backed into someone after I was told she tried to pull into the spot and hit me by someone else.

    AGREED!!!

With me, I could have turned my head to ensure a "safer entrance" pulling away from the curb, I'll admit, but come on, I was at least 10 or more feet from the parking lot he had to have pulled out of and he HAD to HAVE SEEN me as well, brake lights and all as I'm getting ready to pull away!!! I mean, really dude???!!! :frusty::notsure: I do know that as far as "bike riders go", my driver-side mirror was absolutely CLEAR, so it isn't like I didn't look, in that sense. But, it only took that 1-2sec of looking away and pulling out?! Which is why the only other place he could have come from was the parking lot entrance/exit that was just rear of me?!

Anyways, yeah, it sucks either way for sure!!! :( Glad to hear that you had a witness and agree that a 50/50 is more likely the outcome. Better than 100%, that's for sure!!!

Lifted it the other day. Now to find some trails.

Anyone know the website that has all the local off road trails on a list and says if they're open or closed?

LMAO!!! I had the Blackfoot also and it has the same chassis as the Frog!!!:fistbump: I still have the chassis, but dumped the rest because most of it got lost when my brother lost his storage unit. Plus, ALL of "MY" stuff that I had as he was temp storing it for me and didn't let me know until after the fact. I lost all kinds of racing mods that I had purchased including parts taken off of the Blackfoot while I was revamping it.

I like my buggies because it still has that same, very similar, look like the buggies that still race today. I don't like the look of the newer RC buggy cars today with all of the space age looking body designs and such?! Looks too "toyish", in my humble opinion. Plus, back then, I liked how you put the actual wheels together. Just made it all fun doing the car. The RC10 buggies are pretty sweet though  and that aluminum chassis tub, at least back then, I don't honestly know about now, is pretty damn cool and tough. I had a friend during Jr High school that had a RC10 and he'd talk trash about my car's, which, LOL, was ALL true!!! I was never into the actual RC races though as I just liked having fun on my own tracks, my own jumps, on my own terms, etc. Too much seriousness takes away from the actual REAL fun, again, in my humble opinion on the matter!!!:fistbump::cheers:

I'm now trying to build my own "foamie plane". I just need a smaller motor as the one I bought is a bit too BIG. I'm building what is basically called a "pusher style design". I have, for the most part, ALL of the components, including the 4.5ft wingspan foamie except the smaller motor. Anyways, within the near future, I'll be having fun soaring my foamie plane about.
