I've been curious on how an aluminum bumper would hold up. I like the light weightness compared to steel but feel like it'd dent more easily. How hard did ya whack the rocks? I'm still going steel, because like you say, steel is real.

To put it mildly: I bashed the fucking shit out of it.

Valid reasoning. Its those that preload just for more lift for cosmetics that throws me for a loop.

 And no dents at all? Damn. If it wasn't more expensive than steel I might consider it.

I also smacked it pretty hard in the wash in DV and came out just fine. Either way just know your gas mileage is gonna suck so get comfortable now with that logic. I'm at the point now where weight means nothing to me. If you're gonna armor up, get e ratrd tires, but then ask what you can do to save gas then you failed. Lol. Nature of the beast.

I kinda gave up on the MPGs when I switched to E load and dropped a few haha. I'd rather have protection then be spending thousands to repair something that could have been protected with a few hundred bucks and some added weight. Gotta pick your battles I guess.

Cool. Looking forward to it. There's rules here. You can't post advice and suggestions if your posts to wheeling ratio isn't right. Haha. I'm just joshing ya. Looking forward to seeing you out on the trails.

Loud noises means it is healthy. Going to heim my upper arms soon. The rear is a lost cause.

I'm due for the upgrade on my suspension. With the front sagging but not to the degree of being done yet i'm curious to how much of an effect my sliders will have once installed.:notsure:

Headed back to the house right meow to clean them up and potentially get a coat of etching primer on them. And deal with the other circumstances that just happen to be going on.
