I'm talking about keying the MIC for seconds on seconds on end. The radio will go into an eventual "shutdown mode" to "cool itself". My Yaesu FT-1900R has that problem at 55W or at least, it's one of the main complaints for that unit. John's, Kenwood, if I remember correctly that's what it is, is a pretty nice unit, but even at 65W, that's quite a bit of power to be putting on that chassis!!! Usually, mobiles will have selectable power levels, about 4-5 levels that you can set from either the MIC some how or from the front panel display through key combinations, and my humble opinion is to go at least one below max if you have to get close to max. I wouldn't recommend using max power level all of the time. For short bursts (i.e. NOT sitting on the MIC key... LOL), then it SHOULDN'T be too big of a deal at 65W!!!

Magmounts, it may or may not fall off? Just saying for hard mount, it is overall better. Something less for me to worry about and I guess I should say/make a claim that it is more of a personal/humble opinion on my part. I just don't like to have to worry about crap I shouldn't have to think about and/or unecessarily worry about!

Right around the beginning of March. I had to extend my rent 1x extra month because I just couldn't do it with my illness. But, I'm out by end of this month for sure. I'll keep in touch with you about it.

If you ever have time, I could still use that help with rearranging the one side of my storage unit? Again, only IF you have some time available and nothing really going on with your schooling? I figure the storage unit will take a few hours to do, but NOTHING like what you helped with the last time. It is just more or less, moving some stuff from the middle (i.e. not the whole thing like last time) and then rearranging the one side.

Either way, I plan on finally doing all of that sometime next week? Before I got sick, I was able to rebox my bandsaw and small drill press up and away. The drill press was a MAJOR PITA to take apart, LOL!!! It was even more fun putting it up on the top shelf, LOL!!! Didn't think it was THAT heavy??? Until it started going above "head level"???!!! LMAO!!!:rofl::rofl: At that point, I was PRAYING shi* wouldn't be falling out of the box if I "tilted it JUST THE RIGHT WAY"!!! LOL!!!:rofl::rofl:

SLOWLY SAYING to anyone that can hear me, "KILLLLLLL MEEEEEEE" :boom:

Coo, coo Nick. It will definitely help. There are things I can still do on the one side myself to open up even more room and get ready for that fridge. But yeah, I was able to do quite a bit myself. Just so much more helpful with a second pair of hands for sure since I'll be constantly moving stuff from the 1st shelf to the top and vice versa. SOME from the floor/ground level, but nothing SUPER heavy for sure!!! Thank you Nick and I will keep your schedule in mind.

@dtaco06 Danny, if you still have time on one of the Sundays for this month? If not, that's obviously okay. I had ALL of my ducks lined up and some F'kr YELLED and they flew off, LOL, if you get my meaning?! I could have had this shi* done by now and this F'N illness HIT???!!!

    I have:
    1pair fog,
    1pair KC Daylighter
    1pair OZ-USA Ditch lights
    1x Yaesu FT-1900R (2m)
1x Uniden Bearcat BC355N 800MHz analog narrowband capable scanner (non-trunking capability)
    1x Cobra 19 Ultra III
NOTE: technically, ALL of my cig lighter ports are used... and then some, LOL!!!
Eventually, I will have a few driver-side a-pillar pod units connected up... so there is more wire going on there
Eventually, I will have my damn KAWELL "chase light" connected (i.e. not really a chase light, but I think it will make a decent one)

I'm NOT too worried about power load as I'm not using things like what Danny is using (i.e the fridge unit) or other high wattage loads that some people are running. All the stuff I have is really low amount of electrical power. But yeah, wire wise, I have quite a bit, but used split lume tubing to make it pretty decent looking in the engine bay. "My" batt posts are having a MAJOR ORGY party going on at the moment, LMFAO!!!
