    CB is 11m and that Kenwood is 2m. Do you have a "CB" Firestik and a "2m" Firestik? Which they do sell a 2m Firestik and they look JUST LIKE a CB antenna with the exception that you can clearly see the difference in the windings when you look at the antenna up close and compare them.

    Plus, I would recommend nothing shorter than around a 4ft antenna because you have that shell. Any shorter on the antennas and you start messing badly with the SWR even for a tunable you're not going to get it down as far as one would like?! Hard to gauge what you will exactly get until you start tearing into it at that point. Just know that you want, as a rule of thumb, if I remember correctly, 2/3 to maybe close to 1/2 of the antenna length above a structure (i.e. structure being the shell in this case). I only have my 2ft CB antenna on because of my car port. When out on a trail, I'll switch over to my Francis 4ft.

    I've done the written part and succeeded halfway but I've never been able to do showing in front of the judge and the cops showing up the cops always showed up even with dragging it out to The Bitter End I think you can go 2 months
