Agreed, I thought it's a bit early for that, I'm at ~135K and am hoping my cats don't go out anytime soon.
I'll ask him about the head gasket.

My car cat went bad before the CEL ever went on. A bad 02 sensor will accelerate the cats damage.

^ Update. He replaced the O2 sensors already and said the head gasket is leaking. That is more than likely the problem. Leaking head gasket is causing it to run either too lean or too rich.

Is it just the factory gasket that goes bad or will this happen again if he has the head gaskets replaced?

It's probably just the factory production issues of not torqued correctly and the material at the time they were using.

Leaf spring question. So I have the recall letter and am wondering if I should go get it done. I have deavers and most of yall know I am not very satisfied with them. The are great offroad but cant handle a load worth shit. As I use my truck daily for work, I was thinking of getting the recall done and then getting some Allpros/Dakars. Probably sell the deavers for cheap and use the new recall springs until I figure out my rear. Any thoughts?

I just cant handle it anymore. 5 sheets of drywall and a couple fivers of paint and I am bump stopping. My old ranger way out carries me now and the stock springs were toast. Thought the Deavers would work. Nope
