It was one of those ones where you pull it out and it leaks like a hose and then it doesn't bleed anymore after you close your hand for a little while to compress and stop the bleeding area

The electrical tape would work in place if the zip tie, electrical tape works great! My go to. No lead of course.
Its in between the 2 creases on the right hand,
I would have to zip tie my wrist

Why not an ARB, I'm guessing you didn't want to pay that much?
ARB is a nice selectable locker, from what I've seen it's the only true selectable locker, apart from the trd e locker, that drops right into Tacomas. If you go on their website it's pretty easy to figure out which fits your truck. Although it is quite the expense & people have issues with their air lines getting pinched, happend to Max out at Ocotillo a year or so back.
Remind me what's your plan for that? Still interested as long as school allows it :D

What dates is it again? Also is there a fee to get in the area? Might make it depending on weather. I'll go round up some SD guys too.

I loved mine on my old axle. TRD lsd sucks. Those Truetrac can handle the power. Hit whoops with a turbo on a 7.5" rear 5 lug diff.
Going to do the locker next once I pay some bills.

    :bananadance:

Is the TruTrac really better then the TRD e-locker?

ARB ftw. That is what allowed me to make it out of turkey claw out at the hammers when I managed to bust my rear driveshaft. I had to make it down some sketchy shit in reverse and front wheel drive, which would not have been possible with an always-locked front because steering would have been a nightmare, plus the constant risk of breaking a front axle shaft if I had to turn with the front always-locked.

For TDS, I will be leaving on Thursday the 2nd as early in the evening as I can and park off the 86 and N Marina Drive. I put a pin drop where I intend on camping in Demmelo's TDS thread in the SoCal forum. It should be the first reply in there.

I'll be out there from March 2-5, but you will get there just in time for all the shit if you can't make it out on Thursday and go Friday.

There is no fee to get in the area. It is all open camping, but I go Thursday or else I would not be able to get a spot with the toy hauler where I like being at.

If you don't mind I think I'll meet up with you somewhere & follow you out. I'm done with my classes by 11ish in the morning on Thursdays and hangout for a couple days. Let me know if I can carry or bring anything

I'll be out there Friday around noon hopefully. I drive right through N marina Drive, and camp not too far down from where you plan to camp. I'll make sure to stop by once I set up my stuff:thumbsup:

I don't mind at all. I get out of work at 1:30 and plan on getting everything situated with the toy hauler right after, if I don't get everything ready on Wednesday after work.

The bigger the camp the better. And if you have firewood to bring, that would be awesome.

Definitely stop by. Around noon on Friday is still a good time to get there, before the nonstop migration of toy haulers and rv's later that day. It turns into a clusterfuck for anybody looking to park their 5th wheels.
