Passenger side shackle should not be pointed forward like that, should be angled back.
Honestly not sure how to cure that other than maybe jack the passenger side up so the wheel is in the air and try to hammer it back to where it's oriented correctly. If that fails you'll want to unbolt the shackle and fix the orientation and then bolt it back together.

Shackle should look like this -

edit: A hammer might not work haha. You could try a bottle jack and force it back to where it's supposed to be, but it would be better and safer to take the bolt out, fix the shackle angle and bolt it back together.

LOL I never use "exploded like a bomb" to describe something being fixed. Hopefully he's not at the ER right now and can elaborate on this when he gets back online. I'm assuming the upper shackle bolt was hung up on a bur, or maybe where the shackle overlaps the frame had some warp to it that bound up and needed to be "persuaded" to move. Nevertheless, don't god damn pry on spring steel! [IMG]

Lol. I kind of knew that but there was no way around it. I had the axel jacked up. Now I have a chopped exhaust lol.

The shackle was probably inverted when he bolted everything down, simple mistake. Instead of unbolting it, correcting the angle and bolting it back together the pry bar was the easier route but much louder and more dangerous.

To be honest I made sure nothing was in the way and used a long bar. I took as much pressure off the axel and leaf as possible. All in all I'm pretty proud figuring it all out and stoked for all the help you guys gave me along the way. Everyone on TW rocks! Thanks guys

That's what I would've done. The kinetic energy of a loaded suspesnion is dangerous to do short cuts.... SMH He is very lucky nothing else happen to him.

Finished product. It's time to hit the gym because it's looking like I skipped leg day.
