    Merry Fishmas!

Good ole Tom's Place. I know that camp site well. If you get a trip going up there on a Fri-Sunday I would be down to go.

Is he still there? Injuries? I can be at the trailhead in 40 mins.

Sounds like you have it covered but I k,ow a shop that will install a freshy for you for 200 out the door.

P.s. Sounds like gods country fucked you up, brother. Sorry your 1st experience was crummy. We have to go get you some redemption. Coyote Flats, Virginia Lakes, and June Lake brewery. And of course slay some fish. Rush creek is solid honey hole. You'll be back.

It was posted yesterday but I didn't see it until late this morning. The info is pretty vague. There was an official Search and Rescue Op with a helo with no luck in finding the dude or his rig. Doesnt appear to be an official Search and Rescue today, just volunteers from the SOS FB Page out looking.

I snagged a few brown trouts at Crowley. No rainbows unfortunately. Good time except for the topper and windshield. Hopefully next time no casualties

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

Lakes have flipped this year. Everyone was snagging browns. Didn't see many rainbows. Oh well. Fish were caught. Good times were had. No complaining here.

I've had the worst luck this trip. This is the first issue I've ever had with my falkens. Just a bad weekend I guess.

One trip up to mammoth going through Mojave off the 14 at 1am, some punk kids threw a baseball sized rock at my truck when I was driving by. The rock bounced off my hood then hit the windshield. When I skidded to a stopped I look up and saw my whole windshield was spiderwebbed. Fuck!!! I flip a bitch to see if I could catch them and they are long gone. Lucky for them. So I pull into the closest gas station and there just happens to be 2 Sheriffs sitting there. I pull up to them and tell them what just happened 500yds back down the street and they just sit there looking at me. One goes, Sooo uhhh do you want me to make a report? I got sure but I would like it if you go catch them. I kept telling them this just happened right now like right now 500yds back up the street. So they take off opposite directions from each other. I sat there in that gas station for over an hour waiting for them to maybe come back but nope. So I left and went camping and fishing for a week and then came back and got a new hood and windshield. That same trip I blew my head gasket on my truck and had to stop and top off the radiator everytime I stopped. I hate the smell of coolant now.

We all have bad trips but the Sierras are always calling us back. And I will always go back.

Dude I seriously hope so. I can't believe how bad my luck was. It was just not a good weekend for the truck.

Yes... @uhplifted... bad things happen in threes. Maybe you got it out of the way now so you can have better luck on your next trip. :fingerscrossed:
