Being that I used to be a tire tech for about 14yrs I can tell you that just about ANY tire is susceptible to a sidewall damage. ALOT of it has to simply do with how "sharp" and "rigid" that object is to penetrate the sidewall of the tire. In short, just that "RIGHT ANGLE of ATTACK" and your tire's sidewall is TOAST!!! I've seen everything when it comes to sidewall damage and even a F'N wrench, LOL???!!! So, with that said, are some tires better than others, yes, of course, but again, ANY tire is susceptible to sidewall damage as it depends on how sharp the angle of attack was to the sidewall!!! Any tire tech will tell you that as well as it doesn't really matter how much the tire cost!!! Also, any tire tech will tell you that "fix-a-flat" is F'N CRAP in ALL sense of the words!!! :annoyed::frusty: Am I right @goblue82 Greg???!!!:fistbump::cheers: I even had a customer complain to me one time when "I" was cleaning out the TOXIC SHI* he put into his tire about it going out into the street and I'm thinking like, "if you're soooooooo F'N worried about the environment, then why the "FUC*" did YOU put that SHI* in your tire in the first place..."???!!! o_O Either you're too F'N STUPID to know how to change your own tire OR too F'N LAZY OR a RICH FUC* that doesn't want to get his "nails dirty"!!! o_O:rolleyes: I don't know of ANY tire shop that has a "special disposing area" and/or container for things of that nature?! Even to this day I will see the same/similar setup in tire shops that I was used to back in the day when I was a tire tech!!!:fistbump: Btw, that fix-a-flat crap eats the SHI* outta of the tire's "inner liner" people!!! A good way to destroy the tires "structural integrity" for sure!!! There's just no real way to dispose of that crap and it isn't like, again, there's a special "tub" or disposing area for shi* like that!!! Have SOP's changed since my time? Probably and most likely? But, in the end, if you think about it, it is going to end up back in the environment one way or another!!! I'm ALL for protecting the environment, but when people make F'N dumba$$ comments like that, then either way you look at it, they shouldn't be using shi* like that in the first place as well?! They are just as responsible for releasing that shi* in to the environment in the first place!!!

Anyways, that SUCKS Brian that shi* happened to you one after the other. In many ways, I feel your pain brotha!!!:thumbsup::fistbump:

LOL, sorry for the rant, but as you can see, I was a tire tech and seen everything when it comes to tire damage!!!:goingcrazy::facepalm::frusty::thumbsup::fistbump:

I wouldn't mind taking a "sniper's position" for you... Crossbow w/ broadheads!!!:fistbump::infantry::spy: I feel for you brotha as my catalytic was stolen not TOO long ago and I just WISHED I was able to catch them "in the act"!!! "Gee mr. officer sir, my HIGH POWERED RIFLE just all of a sudden 'went off' and hit this 'fine citizen' in the chest once and the head twice...", LMAO!!! If I so much as even seeing the deceased body "twitch" from just the nerves, I'll still unload a full mag on it, LOL!!!:rofl::rofl::infantry::deadhorse: I agree as well that someone is scoping you out and yeah, we were JUST talking about that shi* the night of the Santiago Peak trail run!!! :( Sorry to hear this shi* bro!!! :pout:

I knew you were gonna say Anaheim. I've had three burglaries in the last 4 months at my work. I even got them on camera and the cops couldn't do anything.

Sorry to hear of bad news, but big congrats on the baby!!

That's a strange one, maybe they don't want proof of sneaking around the hood at night inspecting people's property for citations. F HOA's! Does your structure have a gable vent facing the driveway? If so you could put it there between the louvers, if your attic space is accessible &/or exclusively yours. I'd be yelling non stop after this many thefts, unless they're paying to replace it they can kiss my ass on preventative measures.

Yeah man. I hated working as a tire guy on tires with "SLIME" OR FIX A FLAT. it wasn't so bad when the customer gave me the heads up but when they didn't that shit would explode all over me when I popped the bead.
