bumper to bumper traffic, yes. But once you're in gear cruising, its the same as an automatic for the most part. Freeways it's cake. City driving would be tougher though with having stoplights and all that nonsense. I want a manual so bad but I don't want to sit in traffic with it all day which is what I know will happen haha.

I had one just like it...wheelies in first and 2'nd....could smoke the tires in 3rd. But I had a built tranny...close ratio 1st thru 4 and a 5:13 ring and pinion...was built for 1/4 mile and did it in the low 12's . Not bad for a homebuilt. Someday i'll find the pics....but we didnt do much picture taking in the 80's :(

I did love the fact that it got great mileage and never had a single issue, BUT I prefer to be higher up while driving and also have some storage. Neither of which the Camry had :bananadead:

Yeah. I love the 4runner, but the civic hauls my laptop too and from the office just fine.

Don't be niave. My 1st was a 97 Mazda B2300 5 speed, slow AF. Had a bench seat so all of my female passengers knew the shift pattern. Many many times of eating drive thru, texting, them shifting. Other times when food wasn't involved I'd show them how to drive a dual stick :jerkoff:  The ambidextrous ones always got free rides. Also the negative of a stick shift is clutch dumping. An automatic really slows a car down, not talking the new double clutch PDF Formula 1 boxes they have. My little 2.3 could 1 tire fire any time I wanted in 1st or 2nd gear. My friend with the identical truck in automatic could barely chirp them in reverse. Here was my slow AF "safe" stick shift truck on its way to the tire store:

I hauled my DH bike in the backseat of the car multiple times without even taking it apart... the passenger rear window did have to be down though
