I have free storage space for a trailer through the area I live. RV and trailer storage fees are in HOA payment already. I don't really want to change but it would be nice to have 4x4. But not really wanting to.

If you get a trailer you need space to store it. Add in fees and 2 good tires. Plus in CA you can only do 55 on the freeway with a trailer so for example if you wanted to join up with a convoy in route to a camping trip you better hope there aren't any cops around. Also think about where you'll be taking it, if you plan on off roading somewhere with the trailer in tow it could become tough at times especially with 2wd and a 4 cylinder. On the flip side there are many guides and people to help you build your own trailer and it could be a fun enriching experience, plus you have the opportunity to customize it to your needs.

Now when you say losing your back seats Im assuming you mean getting an access cab and doing a build similar to the one you posted earlier. Some pros of that, you will have an opportunity to get 4wd this time which will definitely help when exploring off the grid. You also have the opportunity to get a V6 which will help significantly with the weight of having a camper in the bed. There are also cons of this, as already mentioned you will be getting a new to you vehicle that you don't know it's full history. Doing this obviously will cost more than building a trailer however it a 4x4 will be much more capable off road.

Now there are many more pros and cons to each but hopefully this helps you a bit. It seems that having a camper in truck beds is more popular than having a trailer with them while exploring. But do what's most important to you, I would say why not spend some time thinking about where you want to in the long run and try to plan out a general guide on how to get there and figure out what will fit into that best.

Anyone know any reputable shops in the orange county area for setting front gears up?

Debating on having a shop setup the front gears or just buy from ecgs and do it myself. I usually go to Yotamasters in corona but they aren’t answering my emails. :anonymous:

Go with the bottom one. Reason is solid side windows. That little 1/4 window on the Grey one invites someone to break in.

Does the top one have sliding windows? That'd make for a good air flow if u ever sleep in there

Also should get the club, one of those wheel clamps like parking enforcement and tie a big mean pit bull to the hitch.
