    Totally agree on getting to a manager, just no need to yell at some innocent bystander who gets caught in the crossfire. Take all that shit out on the head honcho. Being polite to the first person will get you a better manager vs being a dick. If I get someone whose a dick I transfer them to the meanest manager on duty to fuck with them. Nice people get the nice manager that's easier to work with and more flexible. Just my two cents.

    I CAN tell you that I was "nice" for quite some time with my situation while on the phone and even with the mgr when I was finally transferred over, but after a while it just got "hotter and hotter" as she was being completely unreasonable and just STRICTLY going off of what the data showed.
    I even mentioned that maybe someone should come take diagnostic readings "on-site", but she kept insisting that that didn't need to happen??? She was just being a total a$$ about the whole thing is all it really came down to? I've dealt with "self diagnostic equip" and they DO FAIL from time to time even though it seems like it is working fine. I mean, without going into great detail, but uControllers (i.e. processors, for the most part) do need "power down resets" on occasion or who knows what else the thing is going through???!!! Basic engineering rule of thumb, "the more complicated the circuit and/or system, the more possibility of failures and/or things that can go wrong"... pretty "captain obvious" to me???!!! But yeah, she was an a$$ for sure when it came down to it. o_O:annoyed:

    I blow up when I get a caller from off shore. I can't do that. Try talking to frontier. They hang up on you. They screw up my bill so bad I almost had to start a lawsuit.

    As long as you started off nice and the person is just a PITA, fucking blow up on them, if they're the dick all bets are off :burp:

    Maybe mine situation is different, the managers and supervisors are all arms reach away. It sucks because they micro-manage, but also easy to get one (usually). As far as yelling is concerned, at least here, if you're a dick to us the manager/super will hold firm and go by the book. If you're nice they'll go the extra mile to maintain good relations with a quality customer. Again, just my two cents, but there is definitely a time and a place to raise your voice and yell at them. If the CSR is trying to fix the situation, let them go through their script, and then calmly tell them that won't do and you need their superior. At least that's what I do now that I've seen the inside.

    Fuck the overseas support, those people are useless :frusty:

    That's alllllmost the route I was going to take with Edison... it was THAT bad!!! I also forgot to tell you guys that that was the 2nd consecutive HIGH bill I got 2months in a row?! The 1st one I was thinking like, "okay, maybe I was using too much of whatever...", but when the second bill came in and about $40 MORE than the previous month, then that got me thinking that something is NOT quite right here and that is why I called!!! But yeah, I was extremely polite, but after 1.5hrs on the phone and no budging or even being reasonable, it just got ridiculous!

    I had a situation with SDGE where the landlord told me I needed to set up utilities in my name, sure makes sense, but little did he lied and he was supposed to be paying them. After a couple months of unreasonably high bills I finally figured out I was being charged for the entire 8 unit complex. After a few more months they sorted their shit out, billed him and refunded me all my money. It was a serious pain, needed lots of paperwork, and my ex at the time was in law school and had a professor (attorney) draft a letter for me to send in. Once that showed up they had a little pep in their step getting things resolved.

    Mine more than doubled. Frontier billing is so fucked. I'm stuck with them cuz I'm in a "rural" area.

    VERY NICE!!! :thumbsup::fistbump:

    Yeah, in two months I paid almost $350 and NOTHING changed from ALL of the other previous months??? :notsure::confused: I was only averaging around $60 and/or around there, if that? Then, it's like, all of a sudden, I get this RIDICULOUS HIGH BILL and I was willing to pay for it simply because maybe "I" was using too much of whatever since I was moving at the time??? :(:confused: But then I get the next month bill and it was even higher than the last. Anyways, she was going through the "logged data usage" and I started questioning her about a particular day and after that day about a "HIGH usage" and I had NOTHING plugged in except my laptop and the landline??? Danny had helped me move the fridge to my storage unit so I didn't even have a damn fridge??? Nothing made sense to me and, yeah, even I had mentioned that it almost seems as if I was paying for another 2-3x apt units??? She kept insisting the "smart meter doesn't lie"?! I was THAT close to wanting to get a lawyer, but it simply came down to time and money. I definitely didn't have the time and, most definitely, didn't have the money?! As it was, I had to extend my rent one extra month because of my stupida$$ illness that I came down with. :goingcrazy::frusty::facepalm: I had absolutely NO money left for an extra month for rent as well as for my other bills. I'm lucky I am able to survive this long!!! Luckily I'm pretty decent with managing my money.

    I just got a call from my temp agent today for a position similar to what I did at my previous job. So, I'm hoping that FINALLY goes through. :fingerscrossed::thumbsup::fistbump:
