    Driving around on a spare that's not the same size as the other 3 tires sucks. It really wears the spare and the other 3 tires. I would always try to match my spare as close as possible to the tires on my truck.

    That might be a full sized spare compared to those compact car donuts. But it is still several sizes smaller then the tires you have on your truck now.

    I screwed up my spare and my tires when I ran the spare for a week. Luckily I was getting a full set of new tires anyways. But I was surprised by how fast the other tires wore all funny just because of that smaller spare.
