    Since we are talking about winches, are the HF's any good? I actually read that they're NOT that bad and even more reliable than the, say, WARN winches?!

    Antonio, from my "research" so far, there is a particular "formula" for calculating the "correct" load bearing winch capacity. I remember it being like 1.5xcurb weight of your vehicle or something like that?! If your winch capacity is below that, you are likely going to burn out the winch or it just won't pull!!! I'll try to see if I can find what I read for you and get back to you on it? It's been a while since, so it MIGHT take a while, LOL!!!

    Anyways, but yeah, there is a simple calculation to do to get the preferred winch capacity relative to what it is going to be "pulling". Just to let you know what I found out. :thumbsup:
