Sorry, I thought you meant the standard OEM leafs. If you think it's too much sag now, just get the overload leaf and you should be fine

Oops! My reading comprehension must be down for the day haha.

It's normal for them to sag a little with the extra weight of the sleeping platform. How's the ride? Does it feel as though it's too soft or do you hit the bump stops when the extra weight is back there?

My wife is a Marriage and Family Therapist and her co-workers are both CCW carriers. I agree with you, they work addiction therapy and the deal with the worst of the worst. Especially more so now a days with healthcare reform being the way it is. I can understand the threats you get my wife gets them too. She's applying for her CCW we are in San Bernardino county so its fairly easy. OC is great too, you should get yours ASAP. You have no idea how many times we are out and she see's a patient.

Yeah, not to be sexist but I'm glad I'm a guy working in this field. It also helps to be 6'8" and 245lbs. Haha. Stay safe out there.

I hear you. Her co-workers are always on it, plus it helps she has confidential plates because of me. As soon as I got hired by my department I put confidential plates on our cars. Look into that too when you go get your CCW. But I'm sure its just for people in law enforcement or the court system.

Yeah I think that's what I'm going to do. With the shell and platform it only sags 1/2" down from the front. If fully loaded it says around 1" lower than the front.

No problem. Yeah it's not sagging that bad. It's just not level with the shell and platform. The ride isn't too soft at all. It's somewhat stiff because I got the stiffer shocks for weight too. It's not even close to the bumps weighed down. I'm also still on stock bumps Lol.

Just use that as your good cause statement. I'm sure you have receipts and pictures of your gears and your family camping in remote areas. Reiterate that your need for a weapon is not to protect your property, but to prevent great bodily injuries or even death to yourself or family members in the event of a robbery, while out in the middle of nowhere.

OC has been very lenient with CCW applicants. Just be organized with all your paperwork. The deputies there even advised people on how to make their good cause statements more convincing as well. Like I said, you dont pay anything until you are approved and finished with the process, so just give it a try. Only bad thing is that it's a minimum 6 month process...lol.

I was reading a few days ago that it could gain strength due to how the currents are near Florida's coastline going north and something about how the waters are "warm". I've always been intrigued by weather patterns and such, but man is it some scary SHI*!!!

This is something, no matter how many times a person's been through one, that they should finally heed warnings and leave the area!!!

    It's like a 20ft storm surge. I can't even imagine 185mph winds and 225 gust.

That would be awesome if it turns farther NE and heads back out to sea. We don't need another National emergency to deal with so soon after Harvey.
