    My rear 2.0's with resi's once got so hot in DV the heat perminatly discolered the shock bodies near the tops. My front 2.5's were pretty warm to. Shock fade in the rear shocks was real that day.

    And I do agree, Death Valley roads are horrendous on wear and tear wirh out a doubt.

    Bigger factor would be the heavier revalve I had done by DownSouthMotorSports. Heavier valving makes the shock fluid move through the valve body with greater resistance creating more friction which makes more heat. Plus the added weight of everything that I carry while on the trail.

    There's a catch 22. It's for a guy who works on trucks so it's benefiting trucks being able to be worked on.
