Favorite idiot of the day so far -

Customer "Yeah hi there young man. I'm lookin' at this belltech lowering kit for mah fiddy7 chevy but it doesn't say nuthin' about whether it's for a car or a truck. So what's it for? Let me tell ya what I'm lookin' at here, it's these lowering blocks from belltech."

Me "What model 1957 Chevy do you have?"

    Customer "It's uh 57 car."

Me "Is it a 1957 Chevy Bel Air, Impala, corvette, nomad...?"

Customer "Bel Air bel air bel air!"

Me "Well it looks like the problem is that this isn't made for your Bel Air."

Customer "Why doesn't it say nuthin' about that on yer' website?!"

Me "Clyde, did you enter your vehicle on our website? Once you put in your car our website will only show you custom fit products with a green check mark."

Customer "Well no, I didn't get that far. I figured I'd just call you to find out."

Congratulations Clyde, you've wasted 5 minutes of your life because you couldn't be bothered with spending 10 seconds to accomplish a simple task.

I wasn't born until 89' and my system shows there being an Impala in 57' so I just went with it.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

    Oh oh new one!

    Me " Hello tha... (interrupted)"
Customer "Let me tell you something, I will NEVER order another thing from K&N. Those damn crooks screwed me on my rebate. I filled everything out, sent it in and their rebate form says it requires a receipt but I couldn't find my receipt so I wrote in "no receipt". These ASSHOLES made me wait over a month just to mail me back saying they need a receipt to give me my rebate! Now what kinduh' BULL SHIT is that!!!? I will never do business with those guys again and I'll be telling everyone I know never to do business with them. It's not even worth it anymore for me to try and reason with these people."
Me " I apologize you've run into so much trouble getting your rebate. I can email or even print out and mail you a new paper receipt to take advantage of the rebate."
Customer "I'm done with those people."

I report, we have lost civilization. This dude called me yesterday with a billing address in CA and a shipping destination in Florida. Sounded fishy right off the bat. I asked him why he was in Florida and he tells me he's out there "to help victims of the hurricane" (wow how nice, what a great person) still felt fishy so I sent it to our fraud team... low and behold a stolen card. Dumbbell dick over there really told me he was helping victims of hurricane Irma while lying through his teeth.

Also interesting to note: everytime I've hit a slider it's been farther outboard than the pipe. It looks farther out than it is. It's less than half way across the tire.

I used to have that. I got bored of it. It actually sounds pretty killer out the side.

Yeah 98% I have the wrong diff ratio for the front. Cant decide whether to sell and find the correct one or just hold out and regear both when the truck is down for the whole install. And I'm recuperating from spending Hahahaha
Still need to have the transmission flushed, eventually sell my spindles to fund better 4wd spindles down the road.

Yeah I know that's the smarter thing to do. It'll be a while till it finally gets done. But oh well. I have fun with my truck in the mean time hahha.

Now just to decide if I should get a rear swingout first...

Jk I need leafs badly. Lol
