I'm not concerned about having to drive anywhere, so it doesn't matter to me where we go. I'll be in the La Habra/Whittier area though. Good beer/food is more important than miles I need to drive.

Hmmmm, most good beer spots don't serve food around here other than New York a tional food truck and Bootlegger, there is a pizza spot across the alley.
And Barley Fordge, there food is excellent but a little taxed and the beer is good but not great....but only my opinion. They might have something you might like. Other than that I think our choices RIIP because there's all kinds of food there to eat around it and they make good IPA's

honestly I wasn't a big Beer Drinker until I open my head like coconut and I had to steer away from hard alcohol other than the occasional bloody Mary with breakfast and I used to drink cheap beer and figured why am I going to waste my liver on cheap crap and I could drink better tasting stuff.

And let me tell you it takes a second to find what you like but after that then you kind of seek out what you like and go to different spots and find what you like and compare and be a beer snob and drink beer with your pinky finger out jk
