Yeah that’s what i was going to say. Seems a lot easier than changing the rules and causing all these little debates.

Do it the Girl Scouts then. Everything changes when you add a female to the group. Men behave differently. Boys need boy time. Sorry I’m a bit old school on this subject. Boys learn to be better self sufficient men in the abscence of women. Just my take on it.

ARE Shell. Pelfreybilt front bumper. hi-clearance rear bumper w/swing out. Rigid light bar/fog lights/reverse lights. Pelfreybilt front skid. Home/hand made slidders. DR front coilovers. Camburg UCA. AllPro Expedition leaf pack w/u-bolt flip and Timbren bump stops. 285 70-17 on stock rims with Spider Trax wheel spacers. EBC slotted/drilled rotors with green pads.
A girl in the troop will cause A lot of problems. Especially when the boys get older. Even if the girls identify themselves as male. Now there will have to be more rules set like sleeping situations and boys/girls being alone and so on. It has always been the buddy system in scouts. Now if there is only one girl in the troop, then that girl will have to sleep alone in her own tent and that brings up a big safety issues. Just a whole can of worms getting opened up.

yeah I do think they should revamp the girl scouts, its all just a matter of money though, they're gonna throw more money at the boys than the girls, when it boils down to it. Just sucks for the girls/women that actually want to learn and are not there for boys. but then again...maybe boys should learn how to not go full ape when a female is around...because god knows its the chicks fault for their behavior. lol

There are lots of different points to be made, all valid points, I was just trying to point out that the article says NOTHING about gender neutral people joining, they still believe in the single gender system. They just want to be fair in offering opportunities to families with young boys and girls. It would be easier for a family to take their kids to one scout camp, is what they're getting at.

If your boy cant handle his shit around girls then maybe he should be in therapy and not the scouts.

But it can go both ways , maybe you get that one girl In the scouts who is going to play games with the boys. It goes both ways. Yes the boys will be more likely to act up but one never knows . At this point they should just think about mixing them together and making one big group

WOW!!!:goingcrazy: Very good points made by everyone!!!:fistbump:

My simple take, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Or, in this case, I don't honestly see how it will take hundreds/thousands of dollars just to change how one group "trains"??? The other group does the EXACT same training, but you simply keep it "separate"!!! DONE!!! I mean, THROW OUT the rule book for the GIRLS and BRING IN the rule book from the BOYS???!!! How HARD can that seriously, realistically be???!!! :notsure: A compass is a F'N COMPASS, maps are maps, fire is fire, etc etc etc etc!!! o_O:facepalm:

The one thing I find wrong with society is that people tend to turn an anthill into a VOLCANO???!!!

Now, you wanna argue about "gender neutral", as most of you know, I help take care of my disabled mom, but when I'm out and about with her, "I" cannot take her into, say, a womans restroom simply because I'm male (i.e. talking about if we are in a store, restaurant, etc)???!!! But YET, it's perfectly FINE/OKAY for some transgender person to go into either or???!!! ONE of these days, I'm just gonna say F'IT and take her into the womans and/or mens restroom so she can go to the bathroom if need be. I'd much rather take her to the womens because I'm pretty sure she'll feel uncomfortable in the mens? I don't know, just my 2cents on the BS these days.
