    Question for the computer savvy. I've only ever had one laptop, a MacBook I got freshman year of college and it's essentially been dead the last few years because overtime it became so out dated I couldn't update it anymore and it decided it doesn't want to connect to the internet so she's dead.

    I don't want to spend a fortune, but want to get something fast and reliable for mainly regular computer stuff, no gaming, no need for the fanciest screen or touch screen or anything like that.

    Idk if I should go back to an apple or switch to pc. I've been trying to read up on it but it's all Chinese to me. Anyone have brand or model recommendations to help get me pointed in the right direction?
