I have parts for two new hub and bearing assemblies that need to be pressed together and then I have the completed one I purchased.

So in total I have 3 new hub/bearing assemblies

    Im working from home tomorrow.

Certain someone isn't supposed to be in DTLA that I know of but all the streets around my building are going to be closed and the only open entrance to the parking structure is on the lower level. Truck is to tall for floors 1-7 so I can only park on 8-12. Normally I enter off 7th st which puts me on the 8th floor and then park on the 12th

I can't get into any parking structure in DTLA. I need to plan accordingly. I'm always asking about parking anywhere I go.

Woke up early today and headed out to holy Jim for some fun. I have other stuff to do and also didn’t want to sit in traffic.

Showed up to them resurfacing the whole road leading up the gate. I was confused why until I got .2 miles in. It was rutted out like crazy and irritating to drive. 1ft deep potholes one after another.

Got to the gate and it was closed. Forest service guy ended up chattting with me and said it was opened yesterday but there closing it early because the rain might have some mud slide stuff happen.

I then just decided to play around on the trails I wouldn’t get stuck on. A few shallow water crossings, puddles, played around in the mud pit and just had a good time. Still learning off-roading and the truck so just spending time on dirt is worth it to me plUs it’s sort of therepudic.

The thing that pisses me off is coming up on all this trash. At one spot (I didn’t get a pic) there is a whole couch someone dropped.

I plan to go back and try to pick some of it up when I get time. Last thing I want to see in nature is people’s crap.

Overall, had fun. Still learning the truck and how hard I can push it. My front end seems more limiting than the back but overall, stoked.

My mom’s friend sold her cabin out there recently because of the trouble. I am surprised she lasted as long as she did.
