What the... The 3 near me are $3.18
But how much are you paying for the electricity to charge it? Do you have to drive & wait at certain places to charge it? Did you have a special charger installed at your home?

Regardless that's still pretty good in the long run... :luvya:

Ya it's interesting... whenever I have to move one I question if it's actually on since it's just so quiet. Trips me up
No idea on the volt but I overhead the early prius batteries are a few grand. Think once the battery goes out people just sell the whole car because of the high price

Most people are just leasing electrics and/or hybrids these days because the technology is changing so fast.

This is generation 1.5 Volt, gets about 45 miles on a full charge. 50ish if I'm in gridlock using regenerative braking. New 16+ 2nd gens are about 55 miles. The room I rent in Cerritos is a solar house. Bill is averaging $2 more per month than last years bills. I charge it every day at work (AAA HQ) on a 220 plug, 2 hours replenishes what I used to get here. Charge it at home on 110 nightly.

No special charger at home. It's the OEM 110v 12 amp charger. I can upgrade to a 220v to cut charging time in half but that's $500+ I'm not sold on yet. While out & about I can charge it at designated charging stations if I want, typically it's about $4-6 for a full 45 mile charge. I don't do this often as I can run the gas generator & get 40+ mpg.

My truck was costing me ~$300 per month between commuting, dating, social life. Back in October gas was cheaper but it still made sense for me to get the Volt. As gas goes up I just save more & more!

I thought my rates were high at Allstate until a friend shopped around for me. I was wrong. Allstate was by far the cheapest. You should call my agent Connie at Allstate for prices. Wouldn't hurt.

From my understanding the ev1 was a perfect electrical car so they ended up scrapping the design and end up buying every one of them back and trading them in for something else so that the community couldn't have any they produced the vehicle and there was Zero maintenance required

Goldenwest & something, beach & adams, beach & Garfield. Although both on beach fluctuate every few days
Someone nearby my high school had one of those. Driving back & forth during my senior year I saw it on a flat bed a lot more than on the streets
Looked cool, bright orange. Wonder what the issue was

I think they take them back for testing and what not, not really a matter of issues. Was a limited production prototype.
