@dtaco06 Danny, where was that one trail that you and your buddy Maia (sp) went on that had "red sand" or something and it's 4wd and/or rated "black diamond", if I remember right? You posted a picture about a year ago and he was going up a "step"?

Anyways, if you know what trail I'm trying to describe, is it mainly just super soft type sand mixed with some rock crawling requiring sliders?

Yeah, when we were at Ocotillo, I was following (i.e. caboosing) and Fernando @Fuerte stopped for a moment to "lock his back end"? So, naturally "I" had to stop, but I was actually doing very well. But, long story short, he stopped at a spot where the sand was super soft and naturally "I" got stuck starting from a "stopped position". I had to be towed along the rest of the way because they didn't want me to get "stuck again", although I was doing just fine before all that. o_O I've driven in deeper sand than that, that's for sure, and just as long as I was throttling, I did just fine.

Anyways, yeah, would definitely like to tag along next time you go.:fistbump:

Btw, Fernando felt pretty bad about that, but it was all good.

I’m not an Angels fan but...
I paid for an Angels stadium brick with my family’s initials to be installed in between the Angels hats in front of the stadium.

    Why? you may ask.
Just to piss off my brother in law who is an Angels fan. I told him look, I’ll be part of the stadium and you’re not. Hahaha.

I tried to have them engrave Go Dodgers! But it got denied. I had paid for it so I put our initials.

They also sent me a replica brick for the house. Not bad for a dodger fan.

@4WALKER Ryan, can a starter motor go "bad" just sitting there for months on end only driving the vehicle maybe once every 4-6months??? Just asking... for a friend. Really it's for a friend of mine.

It's a '95 4wd Tacoma V6 manual. In pretty damn good shape with some scratches and what not, but otherwise in pretty damn good condition in my humble opinion.

Thank you in advance if you reply.:fistbump:

Btw, whatever her "mechanic" is telling her, personally I think is a bunch of BS. Never heard of such a thing??? I'm "self-taught" and can hold my own, to some degree, but, yeah, sounds like a bunch of horseshi* if you ask me??? o_O

I will show her your post as well as Ryan's if he replies.

I was telling her the same thing. To me, sounds as if he was trying to get her to think about selling it and if so, I'd be willing to bet he'd make 1st dibs on it.

She does use it on occasion, but has been using her Civic more recently to save a little on gas. Other than that, she LOVES her truck.

If it's in a very very humid climate then there's a chance but if not I call bullshit. Check the battery first for sure

Would Santa Ana, CA be considered too humid? :notsure: Other than that, yeah, agreed.

    Thanks for replying people!!! :thumbsup::fistbump::cheers:

    True that.

Btw, I'm gonna try to setup a float charging setup in the car port. The apt mgr here though tends to be a total DICK. She keeps the batt connected for car alarm reasons.
