@MonkeyProof Got a couple questions I'm hoping you can help me out with....

    1. Do you have any photos of where you put the large triangle and the Medium triangle on the back LCA mount? I think from your photos I figured out where the big one goes(I'm gonna have to modify mine to fit well), but for the fuck of me I can't figure out where the medium sized triangle goes.

    2. How many miles have your poly LCA bushings been lasting? Brand new mine weren't exactly tight in there, but I'm going to end up replacing every fucking wear item on the front end anyway, I'm thinking about just replacing the bushings too even though they aren't too sloppy. Mine have around 16000mi on them.

    3. It looked like in your photos you welded the inside of the mounts, any concerns about hardening that area too much and cracking the frame now?

EDIT: figured out where the medium triangle goes.

And that, right there, is the main reason I try to be covered head to toe anytime I am spending time outdoors. Rain, shine, snow, brutal cold, or extreme heat. Always pants and cowboy style slip-on boots to at least give me some protection half way up my shin in case of a bite from a snake I did not see and step on.

Only I can have a coilover leak after a fresh recharge. At first I thought maybe it was from the schrader valve being stuck. Nope, it the fitting at the reservoir. There was a large puddle on the ground all dripping off of the subframe..

My Upper bushings are still original and still tight, been nearly 9 years now, weird. The upper uniball gets replaced yearly.

My lower bushings last approx 2 years, same with the lower uni-balls. I grease them once a month which I think helps. I Think also alignment can prematurely wear out a bushing depending on how the cams are adjusted the each other.

Which brings me to this point, years ago I couldn't get alignment numbers anywhere close to what I wanted them to be at, I wonder why

Yeah, I found more shit fucked up than I bargained for while stripping the front for the LCA mount gussets....

    Both LCA uniballs are fucked
Both LCA uniball bolts are bent
Passenger LCA spindle/uniball adapter got loose and wallowed itself a little and fucked up the uniball cup
Passenger LCA misalignment broke off in the spindle adapter
Passenger UCA uniball is loose enough that I can't tell if it has play or not, so I guess its safer to just replace now
LCA bushings aren't bad, but have a tiny bit of play
Driver Side spindle gusset has a crack (already knew about)
Passenger Side spindle gusset has a crack
Driver side LCA mount welds started to crack again after the initial half-assed fix I did last year
There is a weird .080" discrepancy between the steering lobes on the spindles, I knew about this since last year, but don't know if it got bent some how or it was forged that way.

And everyone kept saying that an embedded Uni-ball into the LCA is better than a Uni-Ball adapter version lmao.

Just glad I'm not the only one with a POS :headbang:
