Don’t need attention from the gram or others by doing actions that are inconsiderate. We speak when spoken to, listen as well as they talk, help out when we can, and relentlessly work hard as a mother _____!

lol good rant! I am definitely in that same boat of "millennials" as you. Respect was huge in my household.... the belt was the disciplinarian. Cutting the lawn and taking the trash out was my job from an early age. There was no way I could get away with half the shit I've seen from some of these millennials. Money was earned by washing cars and cutting neighbors lawns. Hard work was instilled really early. I guess coming from a military family helps .... in certain ways.

 

Military household does help, sometimes. Mine wasn’t, but I later joined after being in jrotc lol and it just amplified my anal retentive tendencies haha. Chores are a must, to start teaching kids about how to adult. We need less “kids having kids” for sure! People need to act in a way that would make people proud to call them son, daughter, friend, spouse, etc.
