It is National Purple Heart Day for any resident Purple Heart recipients, or in case anybody here knows a Purple Heart recipient.

So, my addiction to Offer Up struck again today. I am in the middle of an engine rebuild and am in need of a decent torque wrench. I was about to go with a nice Proto 3/8" in the $150 range, but I found this beauty listed at $300. True to form, I had to low-ball, even knowing it goes for $550.

In new condition and hardly used, I paid $200. Now, between this and the cordless power tools and everything else I bought in the last several weeks, this has been an expensive month.

what does snapon recommend for the calibration intervals on that thing? I've noticed at work that all the digital measuring/weighing devices we have fall out of calibration a lot faster than their mechanical counterparts. Only asking cause its our yearly calibration time right now, and I of course DO NOT have all my personal torque wrenches in line :D

Maybe about a year now? I lost track???!!!

But yeah, your welcome and PLEASE heed my advice!!! I believe you have to use some GOLD to purchase the 4th hangar slot, but it isn't that much from what I remember? It's the 5th hangar slot that costs $$$ in GOLD... 5k GOLD and believe it would still cost the same!!!:goingcrazy::frusty::facepalm::boom::bananadead:

After your 5th hangar slot is paid off, then pretty much just do as you wish to "modify" what you want for your bots and arsenal!!! Try to do it as wisely as you can because GOLD has ALWAYS been hard to come by and the Silver gets eaten up quick when upgrading. DO NOT WASTE YOUR GOLD to make your upgrade "quicker"!!! I've NEVER done it myself, but it is BS I can tell you that much from a gut feeling point of view!!! Again, GOLD is VERY HARD to come by in that game... unless you literally "donate"/buy some.

Finally, "my tactics" are medium/long range weapons. NOT A CAMPER, but I believe in taking out the opponent first or as much as I can from a distance. I mean, in order to win and/or help win, you MUST survive, correct? The close fighting is, courageous I guess, but what good are you dead??? I shoot, move, shoot, move closer, shoot, repeat!!! I try to shoot and advance as quick as I can while watching the others just go guns blazing... most of the time??? I do my best to assist or help out a bot on my team by cover fire or assisting in shooting down whomever is on him.

There was one recent game to where we were in a losing situation for sure and I think the 3x of us knew it, but we stood our ground until we were finally taken out!!! The point being, I was cover firing one direction, the guy/bot to the right of me was covering whoever was advancing to the left of me, and the guy just behind my bot was covering that same direction as well. I got taken out first, and then the other 2x bots not too long after, but MAN was that an AWESOME battle!!!

Look into these weapons... at least to start with. "I" STILL use them even now: (they're ALL kinetic weapons... not much of an energy weapons person for some reason)
Molot and Molot II 800m range

Punisher and Punisher II 500m range

Nashorn Canon 1100m range (reload time 9sec) NOTE: they sort suck at first, but once you get them to around Lvl 8 the reload time is what REALLY helps vs the other canon King Dae (reload time 23sec... I was just going over some stats and now noticed it got changed to 6sec apparently???)... Either case, HAHAHAHA, you do the math and tell me whose gonna get slapped more often!!! By the time the King Dae is ready to shoot again, the Nashorn has already shot its 2nd shot!!! (NOTE: still doesn't ultimately matter all that much). Not rocket science on that one to figure out!!! In short, your doing more damage to your opponent that much quicker!!! So, in my humble opinion and from personal experiences, do NOT waste your time with the King Dae... again, in my humble opinion. NOTE: do what you want obviously with either canon, but I think either one will do very well... although, the King Dae is now only an 800m range canon??? You're going to notice that that 300m extra distance for the Nashorn is gonna help quite a bit!!!

    Spiral Missile system 600m range

Aphid Missile system 350m range NOTE: (really heavy damage), but costs 750 GOLD to purchase... so TRY to get one, but concentrate on you hangar first is my humble opinion!!!

Thunder 500m range NOTE: think of this as a "shotgun", but it really is only good at close range 300m or closer. Closer than that, and yes, it's a pretty good weapon. I don't really use one any more mainly because it doesn't work all that well with how I move and shoot.

Other than that, those are my weapons of choice that works very well for my style of playing. A lot of the bots you will play against have KRAZY energy weapons, but yet mine are ALL kinetic and I must be doing something right if I'm at GOLD level 2 now???!!!:fistbump:

At my last job we had the digital torque wrenches on annual and mechanical on six month calibration cycles. We also had a torque analyzer and had to check them every morning.

this was right behind my work. Pretty gnarly, but I was reading that there was only one injury and they got everyone out and safe fairly quick.

Are they going to eventually bill this guy for all this assuming he ever gets out of jail after sentencing? It’s amazing how much damage one asshole can do.
