    At the "end of the trail" (i.e. doing the trail in reverse) 2wd can make it for sure as the ghost town is on a paved dirt road. BUT I wouldn't recommend going further as there are spots for sure that 4wd is needed and/or recommended. If there was someone in the group that has a winch, then maybe okay for a 2wd, but again, there are some sketchy areas where you really don't want to be messing around with winching... just my humble opinion. :bowdown:

    Hmmmmmm, think I will check that out one day. I plan on going back, eventually. I was following my pre-mapped navigator mini-SD setup from FunTreks and the Cali 4wd Back Roads book.

    Either case, that was a fun trail for sure. :thumbsup:
