Are you seriously scolding me? Can’t tell if serious... I was driving through the desert in a 80 mph speed limit with no other cars around. This was a 675 mile trip to the mountains to use the truck as a truck. You expect me to putt along at 65 mph on the trip home when the speed limit is 80?

It was only a 1 dollar off anyway, I work every other weekend (15th-30th) so I won't be able to make it at the end of the month. If you change dates let me know bro.

I need new headlight housings. But will be ripping them open to install my projectors. You guys still think it’s worth it to buy the Depo housings over the cheaper ones?? I’m thinking since I’ll be sealing them up on my own it doesn’t matter which ones I buy.
    Change my mind!

That was my only concern is how fast the clear lens will fade. Does the clear vinyl on yours stop the fading??

Dude....What you tryin to say here???

Not sure if it would affect Cali, but over on the east coast in VA they have started to reject some guys who have projectors retrofitted in the stock Tacoma headlights. I believe they are doing this regardless of the install for the simple fact that they know Tacoma headlights in their stock housing should be halogen from the factory and argue that they are no longer "DMV certified" or whatever.

So, in time it may not hurt to have a stock set lying around should you ever have this issue. It sucks that our 2012-2015 are not that cheap.

I was trying to decipher what he meant

Unbelievably California doesn’t have yearly inspections so it’s not really an issue. Though a cop that is aware of it could cite me but with projectors I’m not much of a target because I’m not blinding anyone plus I’m over 50 and they don’t fuck with us old guys as much.

My current stock housings are trashed, most tabs are broken and tie wraps are the main securing fastener so it’s time to do something about it. Just trying to be cheap about since I abuse my truck anyways

Maybe I misunderstood you, but I was referring to just modifying the set you currently have.
