Brisket and BBQ beans are done, PPV ordered, a few beers in. I love fight night. Boxing is the only sport I watch and I can't wait.

I use stranded 16 or 18AWG size depending on what I have on hand. But, never go below 18 wire size. The thing I'm guilty of are the relays, but I have some relays I forgot I bought a while back and going to install those soon. Just not on the high priority list of things to do for the moment. Wheeling this year's end is next to very little right now. I want to get much needed things finally done.

Sweet pic of the "Marman Clamp" and a tad bit of history and bizarre connection to the Marx Brothers:

    History
The Marman clamp was first produced by Herbert Marx, better known by his stage name of Zeppo Marx;[1][6] it was manufactured by his company, Marman Products from the 1930s.[7]

At the time it was designed to secure cargo during transport. The U.S. Military used Marman clamps to transport the atomic bombs used at the end of the Second World War.

Marman clamps are found in many modern moving vehicles, though the screw band type clamp is becoming more popular.

The name is often incorrectly spelled "Marmon".[

Cool stuff. Whole auto industry calls them v-band clamps. Never knew their real name. They work amazing.

Yeah, that is what I take into consideration as well on what the gauge wire is being connected/used for.:fistbump:

Also, when I'm in doubt, then I just simply use the same/similar size wire that the device already has on its existing harness.

Anyways, 16-18 gauge is not too much of a difference for most vehicle applications that "I" myself have typically come across. Not only that, just look at the existing OEM vehicle harnesses used under your dash, right? Just gotta be smart about it.

Now "relays"...*HARSH ROUGH COUGH*... I need to install, HAHAHAHAHA, TOTTTTTTTALY GUILTY on that one!!! :crapstorm::boom::bananadead::oops::rolleyes::D:p
